Alec Burger is President and CEO of GE Capital, and Chairman of GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS). Appointed to lead GE Capital in January 2018, Alec is responsible for financial operations in 34 countries and ~$150B in assets.

Alec joined GE in 1991 and was named a GE officer in 2007. He has built GE Capital businesses in both North America and Europe, holding key leadership and business development roles, and leading several major strategic real estate acquisitions in the U.S., including Heller Financial, Debis and Security Capital. He has a proven record of growing businesses and talent, globally.

Prior to taking the role of Chairman at GECAS, Alec led the commercial aircraft financing and leasing unit of GE as President & CEO. GECAS has performed at record levels under Alec’s leadership. He previously served as president and CEO of GE Capital Real Estate, where he oversaw the unit’s $38B portfolio. Alec led the Real Estate team through its strategic disposition, which was the first big deal in the successful transformation of GE Capital.

Alec joined GE from Bain & Company, and before that was a mechanical engineer at Cabot Corporation in Boston.

Alec earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Trinity College and received his MBA from Northeastern University. He serves on the board of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Born in London, Alec has dual citizenship with the U.K. and the U.S.

Greg Conlon is President and CEO of GECAS. Greg has been with GE for 20 years and is a highly respected leader in the aviation financing industry. Greg is ideally positioned for this role, with a career history including experience in Capital Markets, Asset Trading, OEM Management, Sales, Debt Financing and P&L leadership.

Prior to his appointment to lead GECAS, Greg previously served as both President and CEO of Milestone Aviation & Executive Vice President of GECAS’ Aircraft Trading

Milestone Aviation Group is the world’s leading helicopter leasing and financing company, supporting a variety of industries, including offshore oil and gas, search and rescue, emergency medical services, police surveillance, mining and others.

As EVP, Aircraft Trading at GECAS, Greg has oversight of large aircraft and engine portfolio sales to investors, as well developing new sources of capital, institutional structures and capital efficiency.

Previously, Greg served as Senior Vice President & Regional Manager for GECAS’ US Sales and Marketing operations and managed the Boeing relationship for GECAS. Greg began his career with GECAS in 2000 as Senior Vice President, Origination for PK AirFinance, and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for GECAS in 2005.

In 2011, Greg was named Senior Vice President, US Sales & Marketing, and in 2016, he was promoted to Senior Vice President & Regional Manager, US Sales & Marketing.

Prior to joining GECAS, Greg held various finance and sales positions at PK AirFinance, Boeing Capital Corporation and McDonnell Douglas Finance Corporation.

Greg has a bachelor of science degree in business from The Ohio State University.

Greg is based in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Diarmuid Hogan is Executive Vice President and CFO of GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the $41 billion commercial aircraft financing and leasing unit of GE.

Diarmuid first joined GE in 1994 working in controllership with GECAS in Shannon, Ireland. He held a variety of finance roles in GECAS, both in Ireland and the US, with responsibilities in FP&A and controllership.

He worked on the GE Corporate finance team in Fairfield and was responsible for FP&A for Financial Services. Prior to his role at GECAS, Diarmuid was Global FP&A Manager for GE Capital Finance, with oversight of financial planning and reporting.

Diarmuid was appointed CFO for GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) in November 2009, where he led all global Finance activities for the business. Additionally, he assumed the responsibility for IT, Operations and Sourcing.

Before joining GE, Diarmuid qualified as a Chartered Account in Ireland with KPMG. He earned his bachelor’s degree in commerce from University College Dublin.

Originally from Ireland, Diarmuid is now based in Norwalk, Connecticut.

John is responsible for the various teams that are involved in making our portfolio and investment decisions, namely Aircraft Trading, Commercial Operations and Portfolio Strategy.

Previously, John was the Global FP&A Leader of GE Capital, a role he has held since May 2018. Prior to this, he has held several key roles in Finance and Capital Markets, namely Managing Director – FP&A and Commercial Finance for EFS, Managing Director – EFS Global markets CFO & Commercial Finance Leader, and Finance Leader, GGO Sales & Project Finance.

John started his GE career in GECAS in 2008 as VP Transaction Advisory. He is a graduate of Loyola University in Maryland and is also a graduate of GE’s Experienced Financial Leadership Program.

John Ludden is the General Counsel for GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the $41 billion commercial aircraft financing and leasing unit of GE.

John joined GECAS in 1996 in Shannon, Ireland where he gained valuable experience in a broad spectrum of GECAS transactions and matters. In 2011, John relocated to our Dubai office from where he led the GECAS Emerging Markets legal team, which was responsible for all jurisdictions outside of North America and Europe. He returned to Shannon in 2015 to assume the role of General Counsel of GECAS.

Prior to GECAS, John qualified as a lawyer in Liverpool, England and worked in private practice specializing in aircraft financing in London and in company law in Bermuda.

John graduated from the University of Liverpool in England with a bachelor of laws degree (LLB) and is qualified as a solicitor in both England and Ireland. He received a MSc in air transport management from Cranfield University in the UK in 2003 and completed a master’s degree in law (LLM) at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2017.

John is a Director and Vice Chair of ILFA, a UK charity, which is dedicated to building legal excellence in Africa.

John is based on Shannon, Ireland.

Virginia Fox is Chief Risk Officer for GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the $41 billion commercial aircraft financing and leasing unit of GE.

Virginia joined GE in 1995 as a financial accountant, followed by management roles in accounting and risk management. In 2004, she assumed the role of SVP, International Structured Finance, followed by a specialist role as Global Restructure Leader in 2009 to provide strategic direction on aircraft restructuring terms following the financial crisis. In 2011, she accepted the role of SVP, International Structured Finance & Aircraft Investments for GECAS, where she was responsible for structuring $4-5B annually in aircraft investments.

In 2015, Virginia was appointed to Managing Director, Underwriting & Portfolio, with responsibility for leading the risk underwriting and portfolio management function for GECAS. She was named Chief Risk Officer in 2017.

Virginia holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and microbiology from University College Cork, National University of Ireland, a professional certification in accounting from Dublin City University, and she is trained as chartered accountant with KPMG.

She is a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma and has attended GE Crotonville’s Executive Leader’s Challenge.

Virginia is based in Shannon, Ireland.

GECAS’ Executive Vice President of Technical is responsible for leading GECAS’ global technical team. David has been with GECAS for 15 years and previously held the role of SVP Technical Operations. Before joining GECAS, David worked with Boeing’s Engineering team in Seattle, Washington.

Mayank Bhatnagar is Executive Vice President, Human Resources of GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the $41 billion commercial aircraft financing and leasing unit of GE.

As the head of HR for GECAS, Mayank is responsible for people strategy and execution for GECAS and leads a global team.

Mayank first joined GE in 2002 at GE Capital International Services (now Genpact) and was their Assistant Vice President HR based at Gurgaon, India. In 2005, he worked with Novartis Pharmaceuticals, and he rejoined GE in 2010 as Director HR for GE Healthcare India and South Asia, where he provided HR leadership to their large and complex operation comprising sales, marketing, manufacturing and technology.

At Novartis, Mayank was in diverse roles, from managing HR for a large sales & marketing organization and leading HR for a global restructuring project to global leadership development.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering from NIT Tiruchirappalli, India and his post-graduate degree in human resources from XLRI of Management, Jamshedpur, India.

Mayank is involved in and is passionate about the education of girls, especially in developing countries.

He is based in Norwalk.

Virginia Connolly is a 26-year GECAS executive who leads the Marketing and Corporate Communication Team. In this role she is responsible for Investor Relations, all internal and external communications, competitor analysis and GECAS Branding. In addition, she is responsible for Strategic Analysis and Execution, Competitor Analysis, Industry and Portfolio Analysis.

Prior to this role Virginia was Associate at GE Capital’s Transportation and Industrial Funding Group when she joined GE. Upon completing the two-year Associate Program Virginia became a Risk Manager. For five years she supported a variety a highly structured aviation transactions including sale leasebacks, debt, and multiple new order purchase agreements with the OEM’s.

Virginia graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and from University of Connecticut’s School of Business an MBA in finance and international business in 1993. She is also a Quality Master Black Belt.

Declan Kelly is GECAS’ Chief Commercial Officer and leads all originations activities for GECAS’ fixed wing aircraft and is responsible for the commercial strategy, building synergy and share practices between GECAS’ regions. Declan, with 30 years’ experience in the aviation industry, brings deep domain expertise and proven leadership skills to the role. GECAS’ Chief Commercial Officer will be based in Shannon Ireland.

Declan joined GECAS through the GPA acquisition in 1994 and held various roles within Technical before joining the commercial team in 2003. Prior to joining GE, Declan worked for International Aviation Services and Aer Lingus.

He is a graduate of Bolton Street College of Technology Dublin.

Jonty Nel is EVP Commercial – International for GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft financing and leasing unit of GE.

Jonty is responsible for building and executing GECAS’ commercial strategies across a number of regions, platforms and teams including Asia-Pacific, MAC, Europe & Canada, and LAC regions, the Cargo business and the Airline & Fleet Strategy team.

Jonty first joined GE in 1999 to lead GE Capital’s corporate aircraft leasing and financing efforts in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. He came to GECAS in 2005 and over his ten-year career with the company, held various commercial and leadership roles including MAC Regional Manager, Milestone Commercial Integration Leader, and SVP – Commercial, Emerging Markets for Milestone.

Chris is responsible for leading GECAS’ fixed wing aircraft activities in the United States. A 20-year veteran of GECAS, Chris’ experience in aviation finance includes prior leadership positions in passenger and cargo aircraft leasing as well as product strategy and airline consulting. In addition to the U.S. airline responsibility, Chris continues to have responsibility for AMS, GECAS’ leading used serviceable parts business. The role, based in Norwalk Connecticut, reports to GECAS’ Chief Commercial Officer.

Li Liu is Executive Vice President, Greater China for GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the $41 billion commercial aircraft financing and leasing unit of GE.

Li joined GECAS in 1994 through GE’s acquisition of Polaris Aircraft Leasing Company and GPA.

Li began her career in the aviation industry upon graduation from college, when she joined the Civil Aviation Administration of China (“CAAC”) in Beijing. She later joined San Francisco based Polaris Aircraft Leasing Company as Marketing Director, responsible for selling and marketing Polaris’ products within Asia.

After the consolidation of GECAS, Polaris, and GPA in 1994, Li became Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Asia and was promoted in 1998 to Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Li relocated to Hong Kong in 2000 to spearhead GECAS’ Greater China operation. She was promoted in 2009 GECAS Executive Vice President. For the last decade, Li has grown the GECAS business in China to around $8B in assets at its peak.

Li is a pioneer in the aircraft leasing industry in China, which is quickly becoming the largest aviation market in the world.

She is based in Hong Kong and is Chairwoman for GE Women’s Network of Asia/Pacific.

Alan Buckley

Alan is responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for the region which includes Canada and 37 countries in Western and Central Europe

Having begun his career with Shannon Aerospace as an Aeronautical engineer in 1997, Alan first joined GECAS in 2003 in the role of Leasing Manger in the GE Engine Leasing team before progressing to the role of VP Structured Finance.

In 2010, he was selected for the inaugural GE Corporate Leadership Staff Program which he graduated from in 2014. He also held the position of Managing Director Global Programs for GE Capital Equipment Finance in Dallas, before returning to GECAS at the start of 2016.

Priscilla Branco is GECAS’ Regional Manager for Latin America & Caribbean (LAC). Priscilla, a native of Rio de Janeiro, has over a decade of experience working in the aviation sector in the LAC market. In this role, she will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for GECAS’ fixed wing aircraft for the region.

Priscilla joins GECAS from Azul Airlines where she has spent the last ten years working with the company in a variety of roles. Most recently, she was the Head of Aircraft Programs, leading aircraft and engine purchasing, leasing and financing.

Dermot Manifold is the Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations for GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the $41 billion commercial aircraft financing and leasing unit of GE.

Dermot joined GECAS in 1993 as a financial accountant in Shannon, Ireland, and served in roles of increasing responsibility in the treasury and finance functions before managing GECAS’ portfolio and pricing function. In 2011, Dermot was named Senior Vice President of Leasing Operations, where he is responsible for portfolio allocations and pricing at GECAS.

Before joining GE, Dermot trained and worked as a chartered accountant with PriceWaterhouse Coopers.

Dermot earned his bachelor’s degree in business studies from University of Limerick, and he is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland since 1992.

Dermot is based in Shannon, Ireland.
